"I tried the 500+ MGO Manuka Honey Manuka Oil Mask last night and highly recommend it if you are looking for an effective natural face product. It left my face feeling super soft and it washed off really easily. I have dry skin but don’t like to put products with lots of chemicals on my face"
"I have acne prone skin and I’m really careful about what I use to wash my face. This cleanser has done wonders for skin redness. Only has a handful of ingredients and they’re all natural. Highly recommend for acne-prone skin"
"As someone with super sensitive, dry skin I’m so pleased with this Night Cream! I use only a tiny bit every night after I cleanse and I have found it so moisturising without my skin reacting to it. Has helped me with my dry areas."
Kawakawa has been used in traditional rongoā Māori for centuries. Kawakawa leaves contain a component called myristicin which helps trigger the release of nitric oxcide from cells. The release of nitric oxcide is the bodys’ anti-inflammatory response which means kawakawa aids the body in responding to inflammation. What this means is that the plant is generally soothing and helps with reduction of blemishes, rashes and skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.
(2)MĀNUKA / KĀNUKA
Mānuka oil (Leptospermum scoparium) is rich in triketones, flavonoids and other compounds which give it strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. Mānuka oil is amazing for the skin. It is high in leptospermone, a compound found in the plant species leptospermum scoparium (New Zealand Mānuka). It nourishes your skin with long chain fatty acids, helps maintain skin pH balance, and it is extremely valuable. We grow our own mānuka and steam distill and extract ourselves.
The healing properties of harakeke live in the special compounds in the seed, which we press into an oil. This unique flax seed oil contains 4 healing ingredients, linoleic acid, phytosterols and the fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6. Linoleic acid is famously 'nature’s great moisturiser'. Phytosterols reduce redness and irritation of aggravated skin. Omega 3 and omega 6 are fatty acid chains with antioxidant properties. Omega 6 is known to work with oleic acids to speed cell turnover.
