As the founder of Aotea, I am excited about this opportunity to share Mātauranga and Rongoā Māori with the world. Our range reflects the upbringing I had on Aotea, Great Barrier island. My grandmother was a Rongoā Māori practitioner, she utilised the medicinal properties of the natural flora and fauna from the bush to treat us. Our business embodies that legacy and brings it to life on our ancestral kāinga (home). Being Māori, I take immense pride in sharing our knowledge, and it is an honour to have our culture showcased onboard Air New Zealand flights. We wholeheartedly believe that this partnership offers travellers to Aotearoa a profound insight into our traditions, culture and rich heritage.
