The key tenant in our rejuvenating night cream is the Harakeke seed (flaxseed). Harakeke seeds are rich in Omega's 3 and 6 which make it super nourishing for the skin. Omega 3 in particular plays a crucial role in cell rejuvenation and restoration. All of the ingredients in this night cream are 100% natural to the point that it is actually edible. Our theory is, why would you put something on your body that you would never dream of eating when its all going to be absorbed into the blood stream just the same. Our Harakeke Seed Oil Night Cream will do its thing while you sleep making your skin all the better for it in the morning

What we put on our skin is ultimately absorbed into our body - which is why we make our face cream with the most natural and simple restorative ingredients. In fact, our face cream is so natural its contents are actually safe to eat (although we wouldn’t recommend it). We are also big believers in the native flora of this country, which is why the anti-inflammatory kawakawa leaf and the anti-bacterial and super active mānuka honey are significant tenants in our face cream which leaves your skin super clean blemish free and feeling fresh.

1 x 500+ Mānuka Honey & Mānuka Oil Mask

Our active mānuka mask contains 500+ MGO Mānuka Honey is deeply restorative to the skin. As it is anti-microbial it can help remove dead skin cells and is also shown to help reduce inflammation of the skin as a result of its non-peroxide activity. When glucose oxidase (an enzyme incorporated into honey by bees) reacts with glucose and oxygen molecules (moisture in the skin) it produces hydrogen peroxide which clears the skin making it feel smooth and hydrated. To further this, we add pure mānuka oil which cleans the skin and kills bacteria so that not only does this mask hydrate, but it is also deeply cleansing.

Science

The seeds of the Phorium Tenax, known as Harakeke or New Zealand Flax, have super high omega 3, 6 and 9 content. They also contain another fatty amino acid called Linoleic Acid, which has shown to be deeply restorative to the skin. Further, its phytosterol and antioxidant content soak into the skin while you sleep, making it deeply nourishing. Another component our Harakeke Night Cream contains is kawakawa infused oil, allowing it to also be anti-inflammatory and ideal for red and sensitive skin.


800+ MGO Mānuka Honey naturally has potent anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties. The non-peroxide activity of the honey will help form a barrier, increasing moisture levels. Due to the reaction of glucose and oxygen molecules, it is able to reduce inflammation as well. We also use other oils infused with Kawakawa and Mānuka, with more restorative ingredients like Vitamin E Oil, Shea Butter and Provitamin B5.



High strength MGO mānuka honey also promotes cell regeneration and reduces inflammation. Mānuka honey contains a chemical called methlyglyoxal (MGO) that inhabits the growth of microbes. Further, it exhibits non-peroxide activity. When glucose oxidase (an enzyme produced by bees) reacts with glucose and oxygen molecules (moisture in the skin) it produces hydrogen peroxide which reduces inflammation and makes your skin feel smooth and hydrated. The other chemical that mānuka honey possesses is Dihydroxyacetone which is omega 3 acid that is extremely nourishing to the skin. We also add 5% mānuka oil so that only is your mask deeply hydrating, it is also super cleansing.
