Your information AOTEA collects is simply to ensure that your purchase can be processed in the smoothest possible manner. We want to make your online shopping experiences hassle free and all information that you provide is kept secure and will never be disclosed to any other parties. All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and all items must be paid for in full. Only one transaction is permitted per order. Because we are using Paypal, a secure gateway for online payment there is no need for AOTEA to record your credit card details. Paypal allows transactions to take place in real time and goes through Paypal system meaning no credit card details are recorded. We would love for you to be part of the AOTEA community so the information that is provided by you is used to form our database. Being a part of this database means you will be up to date with AOTEA happenings on an ongoing basis and we would very much like to keep you up to date on new products, various specials and sale items.





Payments must be made in full via credit card. Only one payment will be accepted per order. Prices listed on our online store are in New New Zealand dollars and will be billed to you in NZD.




Sale purchases are final. No items purchased on sale can be returned. However If a sale item is faulty then this item can be returned in the same manner as if it were a non-sale item

We don’t currently operate our business in the EU, but are outlining our practices here for total transparency. We will not rent, sell or share your email address with any third party, and we never have. However, we use third party analytics software from Google and Facebook. In some cases, we may place a cookie on your side, this enables us to better understand who is visiting our sites and how they use them.

Using cookies also helps you to have a better experience on our website and with our content. For example, we use those cookies to avoid showing you the same thing twice. We don’t serve ads to our site visitors using any third-party tools. When we run ads on Facebook, we may use audience data to serve you and people like you ads based on your visits to our sites. We’re treating everyone as if they lived in the EU. This means that if you’re reading this, you can: 

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we’ve collected about you. If you have filled out a form requesting further contact from Aotea, we can provide you with your data at your request. Please email orders@aoteamade.co.nz to request this. If you have not filled out a form in the past, then we do not have any of your personal data on file.

• Request that we stop sending you direct marketing communication. This is as easy as it has ever been. Unsubscribe or unfollow us, and we’ll stop. Our goal is simply to keep our promise.

We use MailChimp to carry our email messages and we’ll work with them in removing your name from our mailing lists. There is an unsubscribe button in every email we send that initiates this process. We will update this page from time to time with any changes.
